Have fun learning and putting into practice the use of a map and compass, while earning the Orienteering Merit Badge.

Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training is offered twice a year by the Verdugo Hills Council. Both courses are offered in conjunction with classroom sessions of This Is Scouting and Youth Protection Guidelines, and the Introduction 2017 Fall Scoutmaster Position Specific Training
The High Adventure Team's goal is to give adult Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Venturing Leaders knowledge and training that will help them plan and lead their units on fun, safe, and rewarding outings. These HAT Awareness courses cover subjects that are not VHC High Adventure Training: High Adventure/Wilderness First Aid

INTRODUCTION TO OUTDOOR LEADER SKILLS is a hands-on course that gives adult leaders the practical skills to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors.
