We have a very exciting opportunity for the youth in your units to make money to pay for summer camp, day camp, resident camp, Jamboree, Philmont or any other event your unit has coming up. We have had several people contact the council because they have found a unit through BeAScout.org, tried to contact them, and received no response.  Every unit should periodically check their BeAScout pin settings to ensure they are correct and you aren't Don't Neglect Your Unit's BeAScout Pin!

The Council Recognition Dinner is where we recognize our Eagle Scouts and other award recipients.  Come join us for a wonderful dinner and ceremony for $50 per individual or $90 per couple.  2016 Eagle Scouts attend for free.

Council Events

The VHCBSA Council will be honoring our 2016 Eagle Scouts and the 2017 Silver Beaver Award recipients at a recognition dinner at the La Canada Flintridge Country Club on March 9, 2017. Also being presented will be The NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award 2017 Recognition Dinner
Aaarg!  Come test your scouting skills in a competition with fellow Scouts at this Pirate themed Camporee.  Competitions will include shooting weapons, treasure hunting, throwing tomahawks, and navigating pirate ships on the high seas.

The High Adventure Team's goal is to give adult Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Venturing Leaders knowledge and training that will help them plan and lead their units on fun, safe, and rewarding outings. Extreme Merit Badge Mania Weekend is April 7 – 9, 2017 at Camp Verdugo Oaks. The weekend will include a number of Eagle required Merit Badges (Swimming, Camping, Hiking, First Aid) as well as Archery, Astronomy, Indian Lore, Wilderness Survival, Woodworking 2017 Extreme Merit Badge Mania
Support Troop 199 as they raise money for their Scouts to go to Summer Camp.  They will be selling all manner of treasures at their Yard Sale Fundraiser.
